The restoration of two historic school buildings and their yards, abandoned in 2010 when a new school was built, provided us with the site of this project. Both buildings were examples of Republican period school buildings, one of them constructed in 1930 and the second one in the 1960’ies.
In 2015, after restoration, the women of Uçhisar set up Kadıneli (Woman’s Hands), here -- a restaurant where they serve home made meals, and a boutique where they sell home made food stuffs and handicrafts.
