The building that goes by its latest owner’s name before it was abandoned and demolished, now hosts three new rooms of argos in Cappadocia Hotel together with a ‘şırahane’ (traditional kitchen) and a ‘cheese room’ (cold cellar) at the ground floor. The structure was almost completely demolished when the project started in 2011. After an adventurous bureaucratic struggle, the building serves the hotel since 2016.

Being yet another re-construction work that gives the exterminated structures within Tekeli neighborhood back to the traditional fabric, Kavak mansion is listed in the Turkey Architecture Selection in 2017.
